Ctenomorpha chronus.  The stick insect that is.  On our verandah yesterday.  With the Wildus Blokeyai.

As much as my work is inspired by insect life, I am so relieved that we do not get things that size in this neck of the woods.

That's one unique and mean looking thing. The insect is pretty impressive too.

Is it dangerous? LOL. Of course I mean the insect :o)

Hey little hat. Pleased to say the T-shirt was nice and grubby with a brown tea stain on the front. Nicely photoshopped by GPB!

So I see not just the knitting but also the stick insects are exceptionally wild and crazy in Australia.

We have those beasties, here in the States. Both entities. The walking stick insect is larger than those we have. The other beastie would fit right in. Yes.
